Maximum Gridcast special episode from GridLife South at Road Atlanta.

So…. where to start???? This was by far our most awesome weekend! (Except Sam, whose best weekend was the first time he had a cheesy gordita crunch from Taco Bell).
GridLife South was kind enough to fly us to Road Atlanta to announce the drift portion of their incredible 3 day event.

We also had the opportunity to to a bit of commenting on their Time Attack sessions with Adam and Austin from Slip Angle podcast! Great guys who also loaned us their mobile sound recorder which allowed us to do an improvised mobile podcast around the paddock.

Our buddy Pat Goodin DID THE THING! and Won our Maximum Driftcast Choice award. He shed a tear or two… we hope those were happiness tears.

One of the best parts of GridLife was having Andrew W.K. and Waka Flocka Flame who gave us amazing performances on Friday and Saturday nights!

Andrew W.K. also went on a ride along with Forsberg and he was kind enough to leave a comment on one of our posts where he said that he has never felt so much freedom after going on a couple +145mph drifts!!

We were going to do a first (like many of the firsts from this weekend) and we were going to get strapped on the back seats of Forsberg’s “La Flama Blanca” 4 seater Drift Taxi and do a podcast at 150MPH while sideways… but unfortunately one of his toe arms broke and even when he triedto fix it for us, we ran out of time… *sadface
